Movie Plot

In Elefante (Cortometraje), a first-person narration tells the story of an isolated outcast. Manuel’s life is unsatisfactory in a subtle way. His wife makes him feel unloved; he despises his job and hardly even cares for his buddy, Sergio. But when his doctor tells him that he has a mysterious illness that will soon turn him into an elephant, his life is about to change drastically.

What is the Story About?

Larcuen’s distinctive blend of outrageous humor and sincere emotion is displayed here. That is absurd, considering that a man is actually changing into an elephant! However, the truth is that Manuel is only exaggerating his feelings of loneliness and rejection. Even though the movie has humorous moments, some people may cry at its depressing “comedy” ending.
